Hugo Ekitike latest transfer odds: 7-4 Manchester United heads the betting as wanted striker looks set for move
Rangy striker Hugo Ekitike has caught the eye at Eintracht Frankfurt and has been linked with a move away from the Bundesliga club. We look at his possible destinations, with Manchester United heading the betting.

Omar Marmoush made an instant impact at Manchester City following his January arrival and his former strike partner at Eintracht Frankfurt Hugo Ekitike has also been linked with a move to the Premier League after impressing in the Bundesliga.
The 22-year-old scored 22 goals in all competitions for the Eagles last season and was named in the Bundesliga Team of the Season.
For such a young player, Ekitike has had a decent number of clubs. He came through at Reims and after a loan move at Danish side Vejle Boldklub, broke into the first team at his parent club, where he would score 11 goals in the 2021-22 season. After that he made the move to Paris Saint-Germain but after 18 months with the Parisians, he made the move to Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2024.
Now the in-demand striker is being linked with another move away, with a number of Premier League suitors eyeing up the transfer.

Where will Hugo Ekitike be after the summer transfer window?
Given the qualities that Hugo Eikitke possesses and the lack of top-level strikers in European football, it is no surprise that he has been linked with a move away from Eintracht Frankfurt. The tall, rangy striker is quick and skilful, as well as being an impressive finisher.
However one stumbling block for teams may be that the youngster has thrived in systems that play two up top, so at the very least he needs plenty of attacking support around him.
Manchester United have already signed Matheus Cunha and have been strongly linked with a move for this forward while rivals Liverpool are reportedly nearing a deal to sign Florian Wirtz but could pair him with this star from the Bundesliga.

Chelsea | 5-1 | Liam Delap has already been signed by Chelsea but the Blues are never shy with their spending. |
Arsenal | 16-1 | A striker has long been on Arsenal's wishlist but they have been linked with Benjamin Sesko. |

Outside bets to be Hugo Ekitike's next club
Paris Saint-Germain let Hugo Ekitike depart in January 2024 but they have changed their stance since then and the Champions League winners seem to be prioritising French youngsters. However, the number of attacking talents that the Parisians have at their disposal makes a move look somewhat unlikely.
Newcastle were heavily linked with a move for the young star when he was at Reims and their switch to a 3-5-2 at the end of last season could facilitate Ekitike joining Alexander Isak up front.
Our verdict: Stamford Bridge could suit Frenchman's style
The signing of Liam Delap has already improved Chelsea's attacking options but if anything has been proved under their American ownership it is that they are not afraid to splash the cash, especially as they have returned to the Champions League after a season in the Conference League.
Ekitike's preference for playing with a strike partner could also lend itself to a move to the Blues, where the pressure would not be on the Frenchman to single-handedly deal with the physicality of Premier League defenders.
Manchester United obviously need attacking reinforcements but Chelsea looks a more likely destination given their recent spending habits.
Market movers
Manchester United have been the biggest market movers to sign the tricky Ekitike. They were as big as 33-1 to do the deal two weeks ago but shortened to even money at one point. The Red Devils being Ekitike's next destination has drifted out to 7-4 but the market move is notable.
