Day two of the Galway Festival and we have our first runners of the week with four declared today.

 

Mystical Affair runs in the 7:05 and she’ll need to step forward a good deal to play a part today. She’s a lovely filly with a likeable forward attitude but this is a competitive maiden and she’ll improve for the experience.

Geological and Red Avenger both run in the big handicap of the day, the Colm Quinn BMW Mile Handicap at 7:40.
They are both in very good form at home although the ground is slower than ideal for both. But with the big pot on offer, we’re happy for them to take their chances.

Dance Alone is our final runner of day two in the 8:40. He’ll come forward plenty for his first comeback run and this step up in trip is right up his street, the ground is an unknown.
